A colleague, Randy Piland, introduced me to “The Grid“, and incredible on-line resource offering thoughts regarding multimedia. Andrew DeVigal (Multimedia Editor, New York Times), Pamela Chen (Senior Communications Coordinator, Open Society Institute-NY), Ashley Wells (Executive Creative Director, MSNBC.com), and ten other professionals discuss the definition of multimedia and answer questions such as:
How is storytelling different in multimedia than traditional media?
What are important criteria in evaluating multimedia?
What is the future of multimedia?
Viewers can listen to entire interviews or only answers to specific questions.
